Optional National Collaboration Forum Pre-Meeting Add-Ons

Donor Bill of Rights Working Session
Wednesday, March 25, 10am - 12pm ET

This pre-meeting working session, led by Dr. Adam Schiavi (Hopkins Medicine), will introduce an initial draft of a proposed Donor Bill of Rights, envisioned as a patient-and-family-centered ethical framework that makes visible the core principles many professionals already uphold. These include the primacy of patient care, respect for diverse values and beliefs, appropriate ethical separation between clinical care and organ recovery, and transparency and accountability across the system. The initiative is not intended to replace existing policies or standards, but to synthesize and strengthen shared commitments through broader, multidisciplinary input.

The Alliance Transplant Payer Collaborative
Wednesday, March 25, 1pm - 5pm ET

This Collaborative serves as a dedicated platform for dialogue, education and engagement, aiming to reduce barriers and advance best practices, ensure fairness and drive optimal outcomes for transplant recipients. By convening payers, transplant programs and healthcare professionals, the initiative seeks to address critical knowledge gaps and enhance cooperation among participants.

Who Should Attend This Pre-Meeting?

This pre-meeting is intended for professionals actively engaged in improving access, fairness, and outcomes in transplantation, including:

  • Transplant Administrators from transplant programs with responsibility for operations, strategy, access, or payer engagement
  • Payer Representatives involved in transplant benefits, contracting, reimbursement, or utilization management
  • Industry Partners: limited to one representative per organization who works directly with payers on transplant-related solutions

All attendees should share a commitment to collaboration, education, and advancing best practices in transplantation.
