Community Partners

A major component of efforts to increase organ donation in the new millenium was implemented through a series of Breakthrough Collaboratives that began in 2003. The purpose of the Collaboratives was to rapidly increase the number of deceased donors and number of donor organs made available for transplant through the sharing of best practices. The Organ Donation Breakthrough Collaborative became fully operationally in 2004. As a means to continue this effort, the Donation and Transplantation Community of Practice (DTCP) was established in 2008. The DTCP is comprised of several key community partners (listed below) from across the nation whose focus is to sustain and increase the achievements of the Collaboratives and “hard wire” identified best practices.

Advancing Each Other

We invite you to join as a Professional or Corporate Partner. With your support, we will continue to advance our community to identify the emerging issues, to build the valuable resources, and to implement practices that advance our professional society.
