As the transplant community continues to improve patient outcomes, attention is increasingly shifting beyond survival to long-term quality of life and functional outcomes. During this webinar, we’ll review emerging data on quality-of-life outcomes following solid organ transplantation, with a focused discussion of findings from UC San Diego’s DCD vs. brain-death donor study. Our panel will explore how long-term outcome metrics can be leveraged to refine patient selection, optimize post-transplant care models, and support more informed shared decision-making across the transplant continuum.
