The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the way we facilitate donation and transplantation. Additionally, we will hear from our transplant center colleagues who will share their journey to accepting COVID+ organs, navigating the unknown, and recipient outcomes.
- Describe the OPO experience in relation to COVID Pandemic Timeline.
- Explain the changes in process for evaluating COVID+ Donors.
- Summarize the Transplant Center acceptance practices for COVID+ organs.
- Discuss recipient outcomes for those who have accepted COVID+ organs.
Members of the donation and transplantation community serving diverse populations to include administrators, coordinators, physicians, nurses, surgeons, managers, quality improvement specialists, social workers, and other donation and transplantation center professionals and their colleagues.
