Overview: This session will explore managing AUD and Medical Marijuana use in transplant candidates. We will discuss equity of access to transplant, establishing an AUD program, resources and support needed, and how to advocate for these resources at your center.

  • Participants will review key aspects of AUD and cannabis use in transplant recipients.
  • Participants will understand the components of an AUD and THC program.
  • Participants will be able to identify critical support and resources needed to establish an AUD and THC program.
  • Participants will identify resources needed to provide ongoing support for this patient population.
