As referral volume and complexity increase, organ procurement organizations must continually evaluate how referral work is structured, prioritized, and supported. This webinar will explore approaches to referral optimization, including dedicated referral response models, clinical triggers, referral prioritization and leveling, on-site response, interdisciplinary coordination, and operational leadership. Presenters will share lessons learned from evolving referral models and practical strategies for managing referral volume while maintaining timely, effective responses for hospital partners, potential donors, and families.
