Many providers in the healthcare environment have limited exposure and experience to organ donation and/or have only experienced a small portion of the donation process. This webinar will focus on the critical importance of consistency and transparency between healthcare providers and OPO teams to meet the mutual goal of supporting all donors and donor families. Dynamics and challenges within the current healthcare environment will be explored, followed by examples of actionable steps that can be explored to strengthen communication and relationships between hospital and OPO providers.

Recognize the power of transparency in communication and education when discussing donation and transplantation
Identify actionable steps to adapt current hospital-based practices to operationalize donation-related process and practice between OPO and hospital teams.
