The Alliance Advancement Series
Presented on: Tuesday, March 30, 2021
Over the last year, organizations nation-wide have had to redevelop many of their processes to ensure the safety of their patients and staff while continuing their efforts in facilitating the lifesaving gift of donation. During this webinar, we will explore the response protocols implemented by a large transplant center and an Organ Procurement Organization (OPO). Each organization will provide an overview of how the COVID19 pandemic has impacted their clinical practices and share insights on how they each managed to successfully overcome these challenging circumstances.
- Identify methods to effectively manage referral intake and timely response in a remote environment.
- Apply techniques used to ensure continuation of timely OPO quality reporting.
- Reproduce strategies shared in an effort to mitigate risk from the HR perspective (e.g., managing scheduling, conducting training, effective patient care, etc.)
- Summarize the operational challenges impacting transplant centers and how to overcome those challenges.
Members of the donation and transplantation community serving diverse populations to include administrators, coordinators, physicians, nurses, surgeons, managers, quality improvement specialists, social workers, and other donation and transplantation center professionals and their colleagues.
