Live Conversation Series

The Alliance Learning Programs

This webinar is a practical conversation on what transplant administrators need to know about the Medicare cost report. As the second session in the Transplant Payer Collaborative Webinar Series on the Medicare Cost Report, it turns to the administrator’s side: what to watch for, what to ask, and how to stay ahead of problems. Drawing on her experience with transplant programs of many kinds, from large adult centers to smaller pediatric programs, Angie Korsun will share real-world lessons on common pitfalls, working with your cost report team, and areas to watch even when nothing seems wrong.
- Identify common pitfalls in the Medicare cost report process at transplant programs of different sizes and types.
- Describe practices that support clear, effective communication between transplant administrators and their cost report team
- Recognize areas of the cost report that need regular attention, even when no problems are apparent, to catch issues early.
Members of the donation and transplantation community serving diverse populations to include administrators, coordinators, physicians, nurses, surgeons, managers, quality improvement specialists, social workers, and other donation and transplantation center professionals and their colleagues.
