What A Year In COVID-19 Times Has Taught Us

Presented on: Tuesday, January 12, 2021

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought innumerable challenges to the donation and transplantation community. It has affected every single area of the community in its own special way and we have found ways to adapt and overcome. This course will explore some of the ways that Operations, Hospital Development and Public Education/Family Aftercare departments at Legacy of Hope have adapted and some of the new strategies implemented in the face of COVID-19.

At the end of this webinar, participants should be able to

  • Summarize the benefit of Developing and Implementing Virtual Education
  • Explain the process of shifting to Hospital Engagement Telephone Rounding
  • Identify the pros and cons of hosting a combined in-person/virtual donor family memorial service
  • Describe opportunities to use social media to educate the community
