The Alliance Announces 2021 Donation-focused Advancement Learning Series Workgroup

0

The Webinar-based Advancement Learning Series, focused on organ donation, will help equip the modern profession of lifesavers.

The Alliance is launching the 2021 instructional year with a new collaborative team dedicated to developing donation-focused learning opportunities. Collaboratively, the group has identified critical topics impacting the donation and transplantation community and appointed leading national experts to share critical insight throughout the coming year.

The Alliance Advancement Learning Series, previously referred to as the “Get Connected Webinar Series,” is a webinar-based program of hour-long classes presented on a monthly basis. Experts will discuss cutting-edge topics ranging from innovations in the field to emerging best practices for broader implementation. Each webinar garners 1 CEPTC credit and 1 nursing contact hour upon completion of a brief post-webinar evaluation. From January 2020 to June 2020, more than 2,878 participants benefited and earned credit through The Alliance Advancement Learning Series, with 1,612 specifically from the donation-focused program.

“The collective expertise from this impressive team helps to curate the important topics that organ donation and transplantation professionals need to understand. Their insight and voluntary effort affects thousands of professionals benefiting from these programs each year,” said Karri Hobson-Pape, Executive Director of The Alliance.

The 2021 Advancement Learning Series (Get Connected Webinar) Workgroup members include:

  • Hobby Al-Saleh BS MSN CPTC, Organ Recovery Coordinator and Clinical Nurse Educator, Donor Network of Arizona

We appreciate their dedication throughout the year.” Fenton leads all of the Advancement Learning Series workgroups, providing guidance and coordination for each thinktank of community experts.
