0

The Organ Donation and Transplantation Alliance (The Alliance) proudly announces the formation of the planning committee for the 2024 National Critical Issues Forum. This distinguished panel of healthcare leaders will spearhead preparations for this innovative forum, to be held September 5-6, 2024 at the Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek in Orlando, Florida.

Themed “Optimizing Performance in the New Now,” this specialized forum aims to convene current and emerging leaders from hospital systems, transplant organizations, organ procurement organizations (OPOs), medical professionals and supporting industry stakeholders to engage in collaborative discussions. Participants will explore innovative strategies, tackle emerging challenges, and devise solutions for optimizing organ donation and transplantation efforts in a rapidly changing healthcare landscape.

This forum will also include highly specialized TAD Talks, a hallmark of Alliance signature events. Short for “Transplant and Donation,” these brief engaging presentations feature national experts from across the continuum who discuss critical ideas worth sharing.

Led by co-chairs Dr. Richard Gilroy (Medical Director of Liver Transplant, Intermountain Medical Center, UT) and Rick Hasz (President & CEO, Gift of Life Donor Program, PA), the planning committee comprises a cadre of esteemed professionals representing various facets of the organ donation and transplantation community:
