The Alliance Unveils New Enhancements to Cost-Free Mentorship Program

0

In celebration of National Mentoring Month, The Alliance is pleased to share a series of enhancements to its cost-free Mentorship Program for the donation and transplantation professional community.

Beginning in January 2023, The Alliance is partnering with Chronus, which has acquired eMentorConnect, our prior mentorship platform.  Chronus is one of the leading mentor platforms in the United States and empowers the world’s top organizations to “shape the future-ready workforce and unleash the full potential of their people.”

“It is a pleasure to offer the Chronus platform to the donation and transplantation community because of the strong DEI capabilities and expertise, which can serve as a strategic lever to impact retention, engagement, advancement, diversity and inclusion,” says Deanna Fenton, Senior Manager of Educational Program Development and Operations for The Alliance.

Within the next six months, The Alliance plans to integrate the Chronus mentorship platform with our new Alliance Community Portal, which was rolled out in October 2022.

“Given the fast and fervent changes affecting our field, it is more critical than ever to engage in opportunities to learn, grow and develop new skills,” says Karri Hobson-Pape, Alliance Executive Director. “We encourage all experienced members of our community to enroll as mentors to serve and empower our next generation of leaders.”

More than 640 mentor/mentee relationships have been established since the inception of The Alliance Mentorship Program in 2017. To learn more about becoming a mentor or mentee, click here.
