The learning objectives of this course are as follows:

  • Analyze national growth trends in organ donation and transplantation and identify opportunities to align local strategies with national goals.
  • Assess best practices in partnership development between OPOs, hospitals, and transplant programs that contribute to sustainable growth.
  • Develop strategies for overcoming growth challenges, including financial limitations, workforce stress, public perception, and media influence.
  • Apply lessons from high-performing programs to address local barriers and drive improvement in donation and transplantation rates.

Nursing: The Organ Donation and Transplantation Alliance is offering 10.5 hours of continuing education credit for this offering, approved by The California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP17117. No partial credits will be awarded. Registrants must complete the evaluation form within 30 days of viewing this content.

CEPTC: The Organ Donation and Transplantation Alliance will be offering 10.5 Category I CEPTC credits from the American Board for Transplant Certification. Certified clinical transplant and procurement coordinators and certified clinical transplant nurses seeking CEPTC credit must complete the evaluation form within 30 days of viewing this content.

The intention of this meeting is to gather a diverse group of participants from organizations across the country to engage in collaborative, valuable and productive discussion. Attendance is strongly recommended for, but not limited to:
