All deaths from state death certificates with primary cause of death listed as the following ICD-10-CM code ranges:
120-125 (ischemic heart disease);
160-169 (cerebrovascular disease);
V1 – Y89 (External causes of death): Blunt trauma, gunshot wounds, drug overdose, suicide, drowning, and asphyxiation.
