What makes your career in organ donation and transplantation special? My career in organ donation and transplantation is special because it centers on educating communities to save lives through organ, eye, and tissue donation. I led the Washington, D.C. Service Centers' first Organ, Eye, and Tissue Donation Mural, sparking public awareness and dialogue. Co-developing the National Donate Life America DMV Module Training, launching June 2025, equips DMV staff nationwide to educate others effectively. Onboarding Transplant Centers for the Texas rollout of the National Living Donor Registry enhanced educational outreach to potential living donors. As Chair of Donate Life Virginia's DMV Committee, I shaped strategies to inform and engage diverse audiences. My passion for building partnerships and creating innovative educational initiatives, like the mural and training, drives impactful change. Every conversation and program fosters understanding, making this work profoundly meaningful.
