Alyssa D’Addio, Chief Operating Officer of NJ Sharing Network (NJSN), is a transformational leader whose career has been defined by measurable impact, strategic growth, and deep community engagement. With over 15 years of service to the donation and transplantation community, she now oversees more than half of NJSN’s 215 staff members across key functional areas, including Clinical Donation, Family Services, Hospital Development, and Public Education.
She began her journey at NJSN as a college intern and steadily rose through the ranks, holding leadership roles in philanthropy, hospital relations, and community services before being named COO. Under her leadership, NJSN achieved six consecutive years of record-breaking organ donation milestones, culminating in a historic 743 organs transplanted in 2024. Her ability to foster strong partnerships, drive innovation, and lead with vision has earned her wide recognition throughout the field.
D’Addio has also spearheaded nationally recognized public awareness campaigns and played a central role in mentoring the next generation of donation professionals. Her contributions extend beyond her organization; she serves on the Impact Committee of the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO), helping to shape national strategies and elevate standards across the industry.
