Amelia Nabholz serves as Director of Hospital Development at Southern Legacy of Life, where she leads statewide strategies to strengthen hospital partnerships, improve referral timeliness, and maximize donation opportunities. She collaborates closely with executive leaders, clinical teams, and multidisciplinary partners across Arkansas to build consistent practices, accelerate quality improvement, and support sustainable growth in donation outcomes. Since joining SLL in 2021, Amelia has advanced through progressive leadership roles—beginning as a Donation Development Liaison, then Manager of Hospital Development—before being promoted to her current role in August 2024, where she continues to scale hospital engagement and mentor a high-performing Hospital Development team.
Throughout her career, Amelia has driven measurable impact through innovation, leadership, and system-level collaboration. She led the implementation of iReferral at three of Arkansas’s largest hospital systems, improving referral capture and workflow consistency, and collaborated on a nationally recognized PDSA initiative honored by AOPO for its contribution to quality improvement in donation practices.
What distinguishes Amelia’s leadership is her belief that results follow when people are equipped and supported. She invests in coaching, celebrates successes, and creates clear, repeatable processes that enable her team to deliver their best in high-pressure situations. Today, her greatest joy comes from the achievements of her Hospital Development team—and from seeing those achievements translate into stronger hospital relationships and positively impact families across Arkansas.
