Brief Bio

Ms. Rayburn received her ADN and BSN from Bellarmine College in Louisville, Kentucky. She spent several years as a critical care nurse before beginning her work with organ donation. She has worked in a variety of roles and is currently the Director of Education for Legacy of Hope. She has been with Legacy of Hope since May of 1998, but has devoted over 30 years to the field organ donation. She is responsible for the development, quality and consistency of public educational activities and presentations. Ann is also responsible for the Aftercare Program which serves our generous families.

What A Year In COVID-19 Times Has Taught Us

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought innumerable challenges to the donation and transplantation community. It has affected every single area of the community in its own special way and we have found ways to adapt and overcome. This course will explore some of the ways that Operations, Hospital Development and Public Education/Family Aftercare departments at Legacy of Hope have adapted and some of the new strategies implemented in the face of COVID-19.
