Brief Bio

Chad Ezzell serves as LiveOnNY’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Executive Vice President. Chad joined the LiveOnNY team in July, 2019. As the COO, Chad is responsible for designing, developing and leading LiveOnNY’s operations, which includes the daily operation of hospital service, donor center, family service, donor management, organ recovery, and tissue recovery and functions. Chad has assisted with the implementation of innovative strategies to increase donation to include the implementation of electronic referrals at two healthcare systems and the development of the LiveOnNY Centralized Recovery Center. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Chad implemented strategies to ensure continuation of LiveOnNY’s life-saving operations including implementation of a new referral response phone system that allowed Donor Center staff to work remotely and continue to service our hospital partners.
Chad leads the organization in the development of initiatives that align with LiveOnNY’s growth strategies, ROI improvement objectives and advance operational excellence. As a key member of the executive leadership team, Chad works in partnership with organizational leadership to utilize productivity analysis and reporting to design and implement innovative cross-functional process improvements to further LiveOnNY’s mission of saving and enhancing lives through organ and tissue donation.
Chad’s dedication to saving and changing lives through donation spans more than two decades; starting as a tissue recovery technician at LifeChoice in Connecticut, working with We Are Sharing Hope in South Carolina and serving as the Vice President of Clinical Services for Southwest Transplant Alliance in Texas. Chad has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology and a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Management.
