Chris Jaynes (CEO, 34 Lives, PBC) has spent his entire 33-year career in the organ donation, preservation and transplantation field, starting out as an Organ Procurement Coordinator in Colorado. Chris went on to become a serial entrepreneur in the field, co-founding several companies, including Statline, Perfusix (a.k.a. Lung Bioengineering), and SeaStar Medical (innovative donor blood filter). He Co-founded 34 Lives in 2021, backed by a Kidney X Award from the US Department of Health & Human Services, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid, and the National Kidney Foundation, to rescue the 9,300+ annually unused donor kidneys back into the transplant pool.

This webinar brings together experts in transplantation and organ preservation to examine emerging strategies aimed not only at mitigating ischemic injury but at actively improving organ function during perfusion.
