Chris Jaynes (CEO, 34 Lives, PBC) has spent his entire 32-year career in the organ donation, preservation and transplantation field, starting out as an Organ Procurement Coordinator in Colorado. Chris went on to become a serial entrepreneur in the field, co-founding several companies, including Statline, Perfusix (became Lung Bioengineering), and SeaStar Medical (innovative donor blood filter). He Co-founded 34 Lives in 2021, backed by a Kidney X Award from the US Department of Health & Human Services, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid, and the National Kidney Foundation, to rescue the 8,600+ annually unused donor kidneys back into the transplant pool.
