Chris Shay is the Clinical Manager of Abdominal Transplantation at University Hospital in Cleveland, OH. She has over 25 years of transplant experience having worked in various roles in which she has established herself as a known nursing leader. Chris is actively involved in the International Transplant Nursing Society (ITNS) having served as Past President and President Ameritus. She is currently President for Transplant Recipients International Organization’s (TRIO) Greater Cleveland area chapter. Chris has presented on a variety of transplant related topics regionally, nationally, and internationally. She has published a chapter in a transplantation textbook as well as in several peer reviewed journals.
