Dr. Clark Kensinger earned his medical degree from University of Virginia School of Medicine after completing his undergraduate studies at Washington and Lee University. Dr. Kensinger completed his general surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and his abdominal transplant surgery fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. He also completed a critical care fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Kensinger has received numerous teaching and clinical awards throughout his training. He is board certified in general surgery and critical care.
Dr. Kensinger is a multi-organ transplant surgeon specializing in liver, kidney, and pancreas transplantation. He serves as the Surgical Director of Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation at the Piedmont Transplant Institute. In addition, he is an Associate Medical Director for LifeLink of Georgia and the Director of LifeLink’s Donor Care Unit at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
