Debbi, a native to Baltimore, began her career as a critical care nurse specializing in trauma and transplant at The Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH). She served as the in-house coordinator at The JHH, developed protocols for the Living Donor Advocate program, and served on the End-of-Life Planning Committee prior to her current position.

Debbi has been a member of numerous committees and boards, such as the Association of Organ Procurement Organization’s (AOPO) Procurement and Hospital Development Councils, the United Network for Organ Sharing’s (UNOS) Region 2 Education Committee as well as the Pancreas, Pediatric, and Vascular Composite Allograft committees.
