CMS FY 2022 IPPS Proposed Rule: Changes in Donation and Transplantation
On May 10th the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services issued a Proposed Rule to the Inpatient Prospective Payment System which calls for changes in transplant center reimbursement, the methods for OPO reimbursement to non-transplant donor hospitals and addresses non OPTN registration fees. This webinar will provide a high level overview of key provisions in the rule, review basics of the Medicare Cost Report and outline actions OPOs and Transplant Centers should utilize to evaluate potential impact to their own organizations.
