I’ve been with UW Health Transplant Center since 2003, first as a Liver Transplant Coordinator, then taking on a manager role before ultimately taking my current role as Clinical Director. In this role, the clinical managers for each of our solid organ transplant programs including living donor report up to me. I work closely with our transplant administrator and quality director to operationalize improvements and regulatory requirements.

This session will examine the complex, and often conflicting, objectives that drive OPOs and Transplant Centers, with a focus on how performance metrics, regulatory mandates, and ethical frameworks influence their collaboration. Through thoughtful discussion and real-world insights, the professional community will gain a deeper understanding of the systemic pressures each stakeholder faces and explore strategies to foster greater alignment across the organ donation and transplantation continuum.
