Currently the Lead Transplant Organ Procurement Coordinator at UChicago Medicine with a specialty in thoracic organ procurement. Primary focuses in pre-transplant, organ allocation/ acceptance, organ recovery, organ perfusion, DBD and DCD donation, and Ex-vivo perfusion. Prior to joining UChicago Medicine worked as a senior organ recovery coordinator for Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network. Possesses 23 years of combined donation/transplantation experience thus far. Has served on numerous national advisory boards and councils from organizations outside of The Alliance such as OPTN/UNOS, NATCO, and Donate Life America.
