Jeffrey Stern, M.D. is an abdominal transplant surgeon at NYU Langone Health in New York City. He received his medical degree from New York Medical College and went on to pursue general surgery residency training at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond VA. He currently has a practice focused on kidney care including kidney transplantation, living donor nephrectomy, organ recovery, and a broad spectrum of research. His current research is focused on organ donation, recovery after renal transplantation, outcomes after kidney transplantation, living donor outcomes, and xenotransplantation.
