Jennifer Milton is a Clinical Assistant Professor and the Chief Administrative Officer at the University Health Transplant Institute and the University of Texas Health San Antonio where she is charged to integrate the business, operational, quality, and strategic efforts for pediatric and adult transplantation, organ failure and liver and pancreas tumor programs. Jennifer is also the current Chair of Donate Life America.

Expanding Immunosuppressive Coverage for Kidney Transplant Patients: What Transplant Centers Need to Know (And What We Don’t Know Yet)

Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is in the process of issuing a final rule on extending immunosuppressive coverage from three-year post-transplant to lifelong for eligible kidney transplant recipients, also known as Medicare Part B-ID. Eligibility for Medicare Part B-ID will begin January 1, 2023. This presentation will review what is currently known about Medicare Part B-ID based of the proposed rule, as well as highlight what requires further clarification.
