Jennifer Philip

Dr. Philip graduated from Washington University in St. Louis Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering. She subsequently attended University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and then completed general surgery training at the University of Wisconsin. She completed her  fellowship in abdominal transplant surgery at University of Wisconsin.  Subsequently, she joined the faculty at University of Wisconsin as an Assistant Professor of Transplant Surgery. In addition to a clinical practice in liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation, she also serves as associate medical director of University of Wisconsin Organ and Tissue Donation. Dr. Philip has a clinical focused on advanced preservation including hypothermic and normothermic ex vivo liver and kidney perfusion as well as normothermic regional perfusion. Dr. Philip also runs a organ preservation and perfusion research lab with a focus on evaluation of vascular biomechanics.
