Biography

Jeremy Lemmons is the Manager of Hospital Development at the Southern Legacy of Life (ARORA), where he leads statewide efforts to enhance clinical partnerships, drive system-level innovation, and improve donation outcomes. With more than a decade of experience in organ, tissue, and eye donation, Lemmons has become a key architect of advancement across Arkansas’s donation landscape.

He was nominated for The Alliance 40 Under 40 by Amelia Nabholz, Director of Hospital Development & Communications at ARORA. “Jeremy has demonstrated outstanding leadership and innovation since joining our organization,” Nabholz shared. “From building clinical partnerships to implementing cutting-edge technology, his ability to guide both strategic initiatives and team development makes him an exceptional nominee.”

Lemmons began his career in eye banking, where he advanced from recovery technician to manager and played a vital role in the adoption of DMEK, a sophisticated tissue processing technique. He supported surgeons during early DMEK procedures and helped standardize best practices for tissue handling and recovery. His dedication to quality and precision led him to ARORA, where he first served as a part-time tissue recovery technician and trainer, before transitioning into hospital development.

As a Hospital Development Coordinator, Lemmons introduced new quality improvement strategies and helped establish a donor management team of physicians at the state’s leading transplant center — a collaboration that has significantly improved donor care and clinical alignment. He also contributed to the coordination of a Normothermic Regional Perfusion (NRP) program and supported the rollout of an automated referral system in partnership, enhancing operational efficiency and referral accuracy across the state.

In his current leadership role, Lemmons continues to expand ARORA’s reach and effectiveness by empowering staff, building sustainable partnerships with hospital stakeholders, and raising the standard of donation practice. Jeremy Lemmons is a forward-thinking leader whose commitment to excellence and innovation is improving the donation system not just in Arkansas, but across the national community of practice.
