I am a Registered Nurse who began my nursing career at a Level I Trauma Center in the Neuro Trauma ICU. It is there that my interest and passion for organ and tissue donation began as I served as a Donor Champion for my unit. I started my career with Donor Alliance at the end of 2022 as an Organ Clinical Coordinator. I have continued to support the mission of saving lives through my participation in the Speaker’s Bureau where I have educated nursing students, health care professionals and other community members. In addition, I presented at the Donation Summit in 2023 and sit on the Annual Brain Death Training committee at Donor Alliance. I advanced my career in 2024 by obtaining my CPTC certification and continue to serve one of our Level-I Trauma Center hospital partners as the Clinical In- House Coordinator.
