I have been employed by Mayo Clinic Transplant Center for more than 20 years and have held many positions within the department. My main objective is to support Mayo’s mission “the needs of the patients come first” by helping patients navigate the transplant care they need at Mayo Clinic. A secondary overall purpose of my current position is to connect the Transplant Center clinical practice to our web services, marketing department, referring physician groups, social media channels, patient online support groups, and other support services. I am also an advocate for organ donation and to that end, I chair the local Donate Life Committee in support of April Donate Life Month. Promotion of organ donation and transplantation has been my life’s work, and I can’t imagine doing anything else with my time!
