Leanne Arnold is the Director, Human Resources for Mid-America Transplant in St. Louis supporting Southern Illinois, Eastern/SW Missouri, and NE Arkansas. She joined the organization in June 2021 and quickly embraced the culture of process improvement in support of excellence in Organ, Tissue, and Ocular donation. Leanne brings a wealth of knowledge in human resources from her 20 years of experience supporting front line staff in retail, dental and the aesthetic industries. Her focus has always been on employee engagement through creating environments where employees can be their best and work for supportive leadership.
Increasing Staff Retention by Valuing and Understanding the OPO Employee
With the ongoing increase in staffing shortages and challenges surrounding employee retention within the donation community, Organ Procurement Organizations (OPOs) must do a better job at addressing the staggering turnover rates.
