My name is Madison Cowoski, and I’m a Family Support Coordinator with HonorBridge in North Carolina. In my role, I work closely with families during some of the most difficult moments in their lives, supporting them through the organ and tissue donation process with compassion, clarity, and care.
Before joining HonorBridge, I spent five years working with an Organ Procurement Organization in Ohio in the Donation Support Center. During that time, I specialized in tissue and eye donation authorization, gaining invaluable experience in donor communication and support.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, and I plan to pursue my Master’s in the coming years to continue growing in this field. My journey in the donation community began long before my professional career—I’ve been involved since middle school as a volunteer, and that early experience deeply shaped my passion for this work.
Being part of the OPO community for most of my life has given me a profound appreciation for the gift of donation and the strength of the families who make it possible. I’m committed to honoring that gift every day through my work.
