Brief Bio

Maria Molina, CRNP, MSN, holds three national nursing certifications in acute care, gerontology, and critical care. She has a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Rutgers, post masters certificate in Teacher Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and Wharton Business Management and Leadership certification. She has authored or co-authored more than 150 abstracts, conference papers, and peer reviewed articles with an emphasis on nurse practitioner roles in cardiothoracic and transplant nursing science. Maria has received multiple awards, including the 2015 International Transplant Nurses Society Transplant Nursing Excellence, 2016 American Association of Nurse Practitioners State Award, and 2019 University of Pennsylvania Health System Inaugural Advanced Practice Provider Outstanding NP Researcher. Since 2019, Maria has served on the Board of Directors of the International Transplant Nurses Society.
