A native of Oklahoma, he graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry and Biology from Bethany Nazarene College, in 1984 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Southern Nazarene University and in 2018 with a Masters of Business Administration from Belhaven University.
During his 40 years in organ and tissue donation he has served on numerous national committees’ providing insight on all aspects of organ and tissue donation in the United States. In 1999, he was honored to speak before the National Institute’s Health about organ allocation in the United States. In January of 2023 he started serving as the President – Elect for the Mississippi Healthcare Executives.
