Maryanna has been practicing as a dietitian for close to nine years, with a majority of those years focused on transplant. She graduated academically at the top of her dietetic internship class from University of Medicine and Dentistry- School of Health Related Professions in 2012. After working at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Jersey, she transitioned to NYU Langone Health Tisch Hospital in 2013 covering a variety of services but with a focus on the transplant patient, nutrition support, and critical care. She carries a certification in nutrition support and for the nutritional care of the transplant patient. She became involved with The Alliance in 2019 as a way to further integrate nutrition into the care of transplant patients throughout all phases of care with all types of clinicians.
