Molly started her nursing career in 1998 as a SICU nurse in a level one trauma center. In 2013, she started working as an organ recovery coordinator for the organ procurement organization servicing central Ohio, later to become the supervisor for organ recovery services. In August 2017, Molly had the opportunity to join the OSU Transplant team as the Nurse Manager of Transplant Services and has been in the role since!
This webinar will explore effective strategies for implementing a successful perfusion program at a transplant center with respect to renal imports. Some transplant centers are working from the ground up and are unsure of how to best develop this type of program. Bearing this in mind, we will be joined by Laura Stillion and Molly Urbancic from The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center who will highlight how they managed to build an HMP program. They will review the successes, challenges, and potential opportunities for improvement as it relates to HMP programs.
