Nathan Fine serves as the Manager, Organ Utilization, at Donor Network of Arizona, where he is focusing on strategic partnerships with transplant centers within region 5 and nationally. These relationships and a variety of other initiatives are leading to an increase in the number of organs transplanted and contributing to a culture aimed at preventing non-use wherever possible. His interests include organ preservation technologies, combating inefficiencies in organ transportation, and advocating for equity in access in transplantation. Having also worked as a nurse coordinator in abdominal transplant, he understands just how much these efforts mean to those on the waitlist.
