Brief Bio

Rebecca Bleiker is a registered nurse and heart transplant coordinator for Cedars-Sinai. Rebecca has a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership in Healthcare Systems and is currently working on her Master of Business Administration with a focus on Healthcare Management. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology and then Bachelor of Science in Nursing, she began her career on a pulmonary unit that included caring for pre and post-transplant lung patients at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. She then transferred to the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit where she had the honor of caring for heart and lung transplant patients directly from the operating room. She was then recruited by the Lung Transplant Team to serve as a Lung Transplant Coordinator. After a year-long role as an Assistant Clinical Manager of a Medical Adult Psychiatric Unit, she relocated to Los Angeles. She joined Cedars-Sinai’s Heart and Lung Transplant Program in 2016 as a Transplant Coordinator. Her current role is as an Outside Services Coordinator for Cedars-Sinai’s Advanced Heart Disease Program. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time in the beautiful Southern California mountains and beaches with her dogs, friends, and family.
