Renata Krzyston

Renata Krzyston is the Manager, Donor Family Services for Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network, which serves over 12M people throughout Illinois and N.W Indiana. Renata began her career with Gift of Hope in 2012 as a Donor Resource Coordinator where she excelled as a Tissue Donation Requestor offering hundreds of families the option of eye and tissue donation. In 2015 Renata transitioned into the role of Donor Family Services Coordinator where she was responsible for all post donation correspondence and communication with donor families. Since her time in Donor Family Services, Renata has been instrumental in the expansion of the department and it’s existing services, as well as the development of new programs and outreach intended to deepen Gift of Hopes’ connection with those it serves. Her department is responsible for post-authorization bedside care and developing and maintaining relationships with donor families for as long as the donor family is electing to stay connected with Gift of Hope, collaborating with internal and external partners, and all of the donor family care at Gift of Hope’s first hospital-based donor care center. She has the privilege of coaching and growing a staff of thirteen dynamic and diverse individuals. Renata holds a Master’s degree in Mediation and Conflict Resolution from Dominican University, a Bachelor of Science degree from Roosevelt University, and is a Certified Tissue Banking Specialist through AATB.
