Savleen Singh joined the Sikh Coalition as Senior Education Manager in October 2023. Her role is instrumental in ensuring the accurate understanding and representation of Sikhism in public school education across the United States. Savleen possesses expertise in public policy, legislation, and nonprofit endeavors. Throughout her professional journey, she has made substantial contributions in both public and private sectors, spearheading various projects geared towards positive policy changes. Her areas of focus have ranged from healthcare and education to immigration and housing reform. She maintains a steadfast commitment to nonprofit advocacy and community enhancement, firmly believing that well-informed policies hold the key to creating a more inclusive and promising future for all. Savleen, a first-generation graduate, earned both her Master of Public Administration and her B.A. in Criminal Justice and Political Science. In her free time, she enjoys to cook, travel, and spend time with her loved ones!
