Brief Bio

Stephen started his career as a bedside nurse on a medical surgical telemetry unit. He later served as manager on the same unit before moving to the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit. He has served as a bedside nurse, clinical preceptor, and is currently one of the dayshift charge nurses in the unit. Steve has a passion for patient care and for educating and mentoring   new nurses on the process and care of the organ donor patient. He represents the unit on the hospital Donor Advisory Group.

He is a faculty member for the organizational Donor Management Nurse course.
