Dr. Diwan completed a transplant surgery fellowship at Mayo Clinic as well as completing a minimally invasive surgery fellowship at Oregon Health Sciences University, and lead a highly successful program for potential kidney transplant recipients with obesity at the University of
Cincinnati, where he had been since completion of his transplant fellowship in Rochester. Dr. Diwan is an outstanding surgeon who has already achieved a national reputation and has very strong credentials, particularly within the education shield. Dr. Diwan recently joined Mayo Clinic as a multi-organ transplant surgeon and covers both the kidney-pancreas, and the liver transplant service as well as plans to help in establishing a robust program for end stage organ disease patients who require weight loss.
