I have been a registered nurse since 2007 after graduating from Louisiana State University- Health Sciences Center in New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. My bedside nursing experience includes medical/surgical floor nursing for 3 years, cardiac stepdown and cardiac, medical, and neuroscience ICU nursing for 4 years. In 2014, I joined the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency as a Family Advocate where my primary role is supporting donor families through the organ, tissue, and eye donation process. In 2020, I created Donor Remembrance Day which brings all donor families and OPOs together to celebrate their donor heroes. I am a life long resident of New Orleans, LA and my husband and I have 2 beautiful daughters.
