Quality

Resource Hub

Guided by the mission to Standardize, Educate, and Elevate (SEE), we create clarity in roles and practices, build pathways for learning and growth, and foster a professional home that amplifies voices across the field. Together, this collective strength transforms transplant quality into a driver of better care for every patient, donor, and family.

Quality Collaborative Formal FC 01

Introduction

We are pleased to introduce The Alliance’s Quality Resource Hub, which serves as a centralized platform to advance quality as a core discipline within donation and transplantation. Developed through the National Transplant & Donation Quality Collaborative, it brings together leaders and professionals from across the community to align priorities, share expertise, and drive continuous improvement nationwide.

The hub offers a variety of focused resources and standardized approaches to support alignment, enhance performance, and elevate quality practices nationwide. It also highlights the work of the Collaborative’s Steering Committee and subcommittees—spanning event planning, professional growth, education and training, and standards and competencies—all contributing to a more coordinated and capable quality infrastructure.

To support professional development, the hub features a mentorship program connecting individuals in quality-focused roles, along with a ‘Quality Corner’ showcasing recent insights and emerging practices. Additional resources, including a structured learning pathway and expanded tools, will continue to be introduced as the Collaborative evolves, fostering a dynamic environment for continuous improvement across the donation and transplantation continuum.

Collaborative Conversations brings quality professionals together to engage in meaningful, peer-to-peer discussions. Centered on real-world challenges and emerging priorities, these forums foster shared learning, idea exchange, and collective problem-solving.

To support open and candid discussion, participation is currently limited to individuals affiliated with an Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) or transplant center.

Explore the active discussions below and join the conversations that interest you:

  • The Tough Talks Conversation is focused on navigating difficult but necessary conversations in donation and transplant quality with honesty, professionalism, and accountability. Discussions will center on physician engagement, performance feedback, conflict resolution, communication across organizations, and building the skills needed to address challenging issues in ways that strengthen trust, teamwork, and patient care.
  • The Professional Growth Conversation is focused on helping quality professionals build confidence and advance their careers through candid discussions on interviewing, leadership readiness, mentorship, salary navigation, and long-term career development. Conversations will explore practical strategies for demonstrating value, growing professional networks, navigating career transitions, and preparing for the next level in quality leadership.
  • The CPHQ Certification Conversation is a space for professionals to share experiences, study strategies, and practical insights related to achieving and applying CPHQ certification in donation and transplant quality. Discussions will focus on preparation, barriers, regulatory readiness, and building a culture of quality improvement.

Quality-Focused Webinars

The Quality Collaborative Webinar Series delivers focused, cost-free sessions designed to advance quality as a core discipline across the donation and transplantation continuum. Bringing together quality leaders, operational professionals, and subject matter experts from across the community, the series promotes alignment, shares leading practices, and supports continuous improvement efforts that strengthen system performance, collaboration, and patient outcomes.

The quality-focused discussions highlighted below are intended to elevate emerging practices, encourage standardized approaches, and address shared challenges related to quality infrastructure, operational excellence, education, performance improvement, and cross-organizational collaboration throughout the donation and transplantation landscape.
