Agree to disclose to The Alliance all financial relationships with ACCME-defined ineligible companies. A committee of peer reviewers will review whether my relationship(s) require mitigation. Mitigation may include review and/or modification of content to ensure a balanced view that is free from commercial bias. Should a relationship require mitigation, I agree to submit content in advance for review. Failure to meet this deadline could result in disqualification from the educational activity. If unresolvable COIs are identified, I will, if asked, withdraw my participation from this educational activity.
Authorize The Alliance to use my name, likeness, photograph, and/or biographical information in connection with the use and promotion of the program and my content.
Authorize The Alliance to capture my content (video and/or PowerPoint presentation) for use after the meeting as a webcast or other enduring material.
Speakers must ensure that all content provided for use by The Alliance complies with applicable copyright, intellectual property, and attribution requirements. By providing materials, speakers grant The Alliance permission to use and post such content as part of its programs and platforms.
Agree to complete required The Alliance forms to meet documentation requirements of the planning and delivery of this educational activity or other regulatory requirements within CME and/or MOC. This could mean submitting questions in advance of the activity for sessions that have been designated for MOC.
Agree to disclose any financial relationships with ineligible companies to the audience or disclose that I have no financial relationships with ineligible companies during the live activity.
Agree to adhere to CME content validation policies. All content must provide a balanced view of therapeutic options, referencing the best available medical evidence. Use of generic names will contribute to this impartiality. If my presentation must include material or content listing trade names, I will include trade names from all available (including competing) companies. I understand that use of logos or materials, including pictures produced by commercial interests, is prohibited; that all scientific research referred to, reported, or used in CME to support or justify patient care recommendations must conform to generally accepted standards of experimental design, data collection, and analysis; and that all presentations must conform to the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support and must be free from commercial bias. Faculty must not actively promote or sell products or services that serve their professional or financial interests during accredited education.
Understand that, in accordance with the Physician Payment Sunshine Act, manufacturers of pharmaceutical drugs and devices, as well as group purchasing organizations, must report payments or transfers of value (such as meals, honoraria, or travel reimbursements) made to U.S. physicians. Some manufacturers who provided support may require The Alliance to provide information about which physicians participated as faculty for this activity. I understand that if a manufacturer requests information from The Alliance for reporting purposes, The Alliance will provide my name, business address, specialty, NPI, and license number, as well as the amount of the transfer of value provided to me (if applicable).
Agree to inform The Alliance if I am contacted by a third-party company or industry agent requesting my participation in the development of an educational enduring product related to this activity. The Alliance will create any enduring content based on this activity and will not license any other party to do so.
The Alliance is committed to fostering a professional, inclusive, and respectful learning environment that supports open dialogue and the exchange of diverse perspectives. While speakers are encouraged to share insights related to policy and the broader healthcare landscape, presentations should remain focused on advancing understanding and practice within the field. Content that includes humor, imagery, or commentary targeting specific political figures or parties is not aligned with the tone and purpose of Alliance programming. To ensure consistency with these standards, The Alliance reserves the right to edit recorded content prior to distribution. This may include blurring images, removing slides, or omitting portions of commentary that do not meet these guidelines.
