Currently, serving as transplant manager for the thoracic programs at Cedars-Sinai Smidt Heart Institute and Comprehensive Transplant Center. Over 25 years of experience in thoracic transplant coordination and management. Responsible for program, protocol, and policy development. Participates in committees associated with such development, including pre-transplant, in-hospital, outpatient, and donor management. Co-authored numerous papers presented at the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT) and/or published in the Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation and the American Journal of Transplantation. Co-author of the heart transplant chapter for the “Core Curriculum for Transplant Nurses,” which serves as a guide for transplant coordinator certification. Chair for the ISHLT guidelines for the Care of Heart Transplant Recipients, published in 2023. Contributing writer for the 2024 ISHLT Guidelines for the Evaluation and Care of Cardiac Transplant Candidates. Currently serving as UNOS Region 5 Educational Collaborative co-chair. Elected to serve on the ISHLT Board of Directors beginning in May 2025. Doctor of Nursing Practice candidate, completion Fall 2025.
