Learning Objectives for this event are as follows:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the current landscape and progress of Normothermic Regional Perfusion (NRP) in the United States.
  • Describe the existing challenges and opportunities in implementing NRP based on insights shared by the national workgroups and varied perspectives between different stakeholders.
  • Identify methods for addressing pushback and navigating obstacles to advance NRP practices collaboratively.
  • Identify best practices and approaches for engaging with donor families sensitively and ethically, contributing to the evolution of NRP practices that prioritize patient and family-centered care.
  • Nursing: The Organ Donation and Transplantation Alliance is offering 8.50 hours of continuing education credit for this offering, approved by The California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP17117. No partial credits will be awarded. CE credit will be issued upon request within 30 days post-forum.
  • CEPTC: The Organ Donation and Transplantation Alliance will be offering 8.50 Category I CEPTC credits from the American Board for Transplant Certification. Certified clinical transplant and procurement coordinators and certified clinical transplant nurses seeking CEPTC credit must complete the evaluation form within 30 days of the event
